Daniel Press and artist Kristy Gordon co-founded monthly studio crit sessions for Higher Degree Research (HDR) students in July 2022. Until the end of 2024, they regularly went on tour between UNSW Art & Design, Sydney College of the Arts, and National Art School. The award-winning initiative was hugely successful amongst students, showing work from over sixty presenters. In February 2024, artist Sarah Eddowes joined the HDR studio crit team as co-organiser.
